Privacy Policy
Plain language, no surprises — what we collect, why, and what we do with it. Last updated: June 25, 2026.
This policy explains what information 2k Web Developments LLC (“2k Web,” “we,” “us”) collects when you use this site, why, and how we handle it.
1. Who we are
2k Web Developments LLC is a one-person web development studio based in Blue Springs, Missouri. You can reach us any time at adam@2kwebdev.com.
2. What we collect
Only what you choose to send us. When you fill out the application form on the Nerdy Friend page, or email us through any contact or “get a quote” link, we receive what you provide — typically your name, business name, email, phone, location, how long you’ve been in business, what your business does, and what you need help with.
We use that information solely to reply to you and to carry out the work you’re asking about. You don’t create an account, and we don’t collect anything in the background beyond what’s described here.
3. How form submissions are delivered
The Nerdy Friend application form is delivered through Web3Forms (api.web3forms.com), a form-to-email service that passes your submission to our inbox. Web3Forms processes the submission only to deliver it; see web3forms.com for their practices. All other contact happens by direct email (mailto links), which goes straight to our inbox.
4. Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. When you pay an invoice or start a plan, your card or bank details are entered on Stripe’s secure checkout — they are never seen, handled, or stored by 2k Web. Stripe processes your payment information under its own privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. We receive only what we need to fulfill and reconcile your order — for example, that a payment succeeded, the plan or amount, and the email you enter at checkout.
5. Analytics & cookies
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-330JW0TV89) to understand how visitors find and use the site. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data — the pages you visit, your approximate location (derived from your IP address, which Google truncates), your device and browser type, and how you arrived (for example, a search or a referral link). We use it only in aggregate to improve the site; we don’t use it to identify you personally, and we don’t run advertising or remarketing pixels. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out using Google’s Analytics Opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. On your first visit we show a brief cookie notice that links here.
This site also runs LiveDash, a first-party analytics script
served from this site (/js/ld.js) that sends its measurements to
dash.2kwebdev.com, a subdomain we operate. It is not a third-party
product and no data leaves our own infrastructure. It sets no
cookies and stores no identifier in your browser.
Each page you open sends one record containing: the path of the page (for
example /services/local-seo), the referring URL if your browser
supplied one, and the utm_source, utm_medium and
utm_campaign values if the link you followed carried them. When you
click a phone number, an email address or a tracked button, it sends a second
record naming which one — for example call or email —
and nothing else. As with any web request, our server sees your IP address; it
is not stored in the analytics record. The script does not run for automated
browsers, and pages the browser pre-loads but you never actually visit are not
counted.
This script is present on every page of the site, including the private
file-upload page at /send. On that page it records the same two
things it records everywhere — that the page was opened, and which buttons were
clicked. It does not read your name, the files you select, or anything you
type.
6. What we don’t do
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with advertisers or data brokers. We share it only with the processors named here — Web3Forms for form delivery, Stripe for payments, Google for analytics, Resend for the email that notifies us when you finish a file upload (it receives the name you enter and the file names, not the files), and Cloudflare, which hosts this site, stores files uploaded through /send, and records AI-crawler visits — strictly to provide what you asked for, to measure traffic in aggregate, or where the law requires it.
7. Keeping your data & your choices
We keep enquiry and project information for as long as we need it to do the work and maintain our records, and no longer than necessary. You can ask what we hold about you, request a copy, or ask us to delete it — just email adam@2kwebdev.com and we’ll take care of it.
8. Children
Our site and services are for businesses and adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, the “last updated” date at the top changes, and any material changes are reflected here.
