Xtreme Pressure Washing
Xtreme Pressure Washing wanted to show up when someone in any KC suburb searches for the exact service they need. I hand-built a 339-page site — every service mapped to every city they work in — engineered top to bottom for local search, with all imagery in WebP and structured data on every page. Under Google's throttled mobile test the homepage scores 98, against a median of 55 for Kansas City small-business sites.
The challenge
Local service search is won page by page: someone in Belton searching “roof soft washing Belton” should land on a page about that service in that city, not a generic homepage. Xtreme runs 14 services across the KC metro, and covering that properly means a lot of pages — each one genuinely built, fast, and structured.
What I built
A 339-page hand-coded static site — a matrix of 14 services across roughly 22 cities (308 service-area pages) plus 20 city hub pages and the core site — with no CMS or template framework behind it. Every page is engineered for local organic search: hand-written JSON-LD structured data on all of them (LocalBusiness, Service, Offer, FAQ, geo-coordinates), a complete sitemap and robots file, and audited alt text across 657 images. To build and maintain a site that size by hand, I wrote around 100 purpose-built scripts for site-wide schema, accessibility, and image work.
The results
The scale is the story: 339 indexable pages in its live sitemap, 100% of imagery served as WebP, and structured data on every page, behind hardened security headers and an immutable long-cache asset policy on Netlify. Under Google's throttled mobile test on July 8, 2026, the homepage scored 98 for performance, 96 for accessibility, and 100 for both SEO and best practices, with a 2.2-second Largest Contentful Paint — against a median mobile performance of 55 across the 105 KC small-business sites I surveyed. Built across about 26 days.

Measured under Google's throttled mobile (Lighthouse) test on July 8, 2026. *Medians from my survey of 105 KC small-business websites. No CrUX real-user field data is available for this site, so every figure here is a lab measurement.
The stack, for the curious
Flat static HTML and CSS — no framework, deliberately — with a Node tooling layer (Sharp for WebP conversion, plus batch scripts for site-wide schema and accessibility). Netlify hosting with security headers, immutable asset caching, and self-hosted Barlow web fonts. Every page carries hand-written JSON-LD.
